Ava loves Santa

Ava got this adorable shirt in the mail on Friday. Thanks Aunt Sheila! Ava was very excited to wear it to school today. She was also excited to ride the bus. Daddy was in the boonies in Virginia for a meeting so we took the bus and metro to school/work. It makes the fact that Ava's school is 3 building down from my office fantastic!

Our trip to meet Raya

4 weeks later we finally had a chance to meet Raya Berman. She is tiny, adorable, and so alert! Ava held her gently and gave her kisses. This was the smallest baby Ava had ever seen. She is going to be a great big sister someday!

A kiss for Rusty

Since Ava was born Rusty has pretty much kept his distance generally only coming close enough to steal her food. It makes these moments rare and precious!

A picture with Santa

We are wo
rking up to our picture with Santa. Last week we went to Rio and Ava waived to Santa but was a little scared. This week we tried to get her to take a picture with this Santa statue. As you can see it went really well :)

Picture Day

Today was picture day at school. Ava was very excited to wear her new outfit this morning. I managed to remember to get the camera out but forgot the video function was on so this is all I have until we see the actual pictures from school.

Field Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

The most exciting part of the field trip was the fact that Ava got to ride on the SCHOOL BUS!!!!

The kids actually waited fairly patiently for 2 year olds to get the tickets and then ride the hayride to pick pumpkins.

Ava found the hayride itchy. A less for next year...jeans on the field trip to the pumpkin patch and not leggings :)

After we picked our pumpkins the girls had a great time playing in the hay stacks before lunch.

After lunch we saw the animals before we headed back to the bus to go back to school.
