2 days ago I had surgery to correct my deviated septum. Earl picked my up from the surgery center and brought me home to rest before picking Ava up at daycare. Shannon, Earl , and Ava stopped to pick-up dinner on the way home. Apparently I didn't look so hot because Ava cried when she saw me. Today my boss brought me a lovely gift and Ava enjoyed every bite!

Zoo on a rainy day with cousin Kayden

Danielle and Kayden came to visit us this weekend. We went to the zoo despite the drizzle. It was great because we basically had the whole zoo to ourselves.

Ava has reached the point of wanting to do anything and everything the grown-ups do. Tonight she was insistent on helping to unload the dishwasher.
