Vacation week at home

We took the wrong week of vacation so Earl and I have been taking turns at home this week since we have no child care. This morning I took Ava to the park before it got too hot.

Daddy is on travel for work and Ava woke up with fever and vomiting so she had to stay home with Mommy. She fell asleep both laying beside me while I was working on the computer and on her make shift bed on the floor. Lots of rest hopefully will make her feel better before Aunt Alexandra comes to spend the night with her in a few days when Mommy is on travel.

One of those days

Today Ava and I drove up to Pa for Sara's graduation party. We went up early so we could go to the Whitaker Center with Danielle and Kayden. The kids had a great time playing with the Ambulance and Market as well as the gigantic water table. However when we got back to the car the battery was dead :( Uncle Kevin came to get Daniele and the kids while I waited for AAA. They were able to jump the car and get me running again. I headed to the party. So excited for Sara and a big congrats for getting into the nursing program!

Happy Early Father's Day

One of my friends from high school happened to be selling her tickets for the Phillies so we grabbed them up since we had been trying to find tickets to a game all summer. PopPop and Dan came with us. Ava was totally in love with the Philly Phanatic. When he danced on top of the dugout Ava intently watched and danced with him. Ava of course had to have a helmet ice cream. It was such a great day and worth the missed nap although Ava passes out as soon as we hit the car for the ride home.

Today Ava watches as our new washer and dryer got delivered. This was the best purchase ever. I can do an entire week's worth of laundry in 3 hours on the weekend instead of it take 3 hours to do a single load.

Later we tried out the park by our new house. Lots of bugs this summer but other than that fantastic!

I love...elmo, I love....oscar!

We moved into our new how over the weekend and Ava's play space is all setup. This morning she was looking through a sesame street book reading...so adorable. This gets better each day :)
